This review is for the overthinking neurospicy babe out there who needs someone to tell them everything they want to know before spending big shoe money. It's been a while since I wrote any kind of editorial, so I thank you in advance if you decide to read my review the whole way through, lol. But I did ingest a bunch of green stuff before writing this, so be warned.
I was worried the suede Vivas would be heavy on my old a$$ ankles (I haven't worn my original pair of creepers in a few years, and since then, my joint pains have worsened/my tolerance for uncomfortable shoes has gone way up) , but these hold onto my ankles really well with the lower, thicker strap style, but you might have to make your own buckle hole to get the ~perfect~ support without cutting off circulation.
With thicker socks, there's hardly any friction. My feet don't slide around when I walk fast -- I've even broken into a jog a few times lol -- so no blisters or pinching anywhere for me. Granted, my feet are shaped pretty generically, and I don't have a particularly narrow or wide toe box, so they're actually shaped very similarly to the shape of the shoe. so keep that in mind if your feet are wider.
The thickness of these soles, as per usual Creeper fashion, feels luxurious. I work retail management in a grocery store, and I am on my feet 8+ hours a day, running around the whole time. Never less than 10k steps even on a slow day. Usually double that, however, I was able to comfortably go through my shifts with these shoes straight out of the box.
I think you should try em. Walk around in your house for a few hours to feel em out first, but I think key is find the perfect strap tightness and comfy socks. Feels like you're standing on a fatigue mat wherever you go. And they go with everything. My new favorite shoes. I'm getting buried with these babies.
Oh yeah -- I'm closer to a 7.5 women's than an 8 generally, but because these are mid/narrow, they fit me just fine.
