 Madeline the Person x T.U.K.

My new EP is called "Chapter 2: The Shedding" because it details my growth while I found my true identity. I wanted to capture the feeling of shedding layers of yourself to get to your core.

Where do you typically draw inspiration from?

My songs come directly from my feelings, so if I had a bad day or I'm feeling overwhelmed with some sort of emotion, I know a song is coming.

Which one of your songs to you currently relate most to?

Right now I relate most to my song Growing Pains because I have a crush hehehehe.

What do you hope people get from your music?

I hope people find a safe place in my music. The most important thing to me about making music is when my listeners feel supported and understood.

Where do you want to be in a year?

I want to be making tons of music and performing and eating a donut and petting dogs and meeting fans.

What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

I would tell my younger self to hold on because it's going to get so much better soon.

How does fashion help you express yourself?

Fashion is my freedom! I can wear whatever I want, so I just do. Whatever feels good and true that day is what I'll wear. I love that I only dress for myself. It feels really important when I decorate myself in clothes and jewelry and shoes because I feel like I'm honoring my own coolness.
